Opaque dark crimson red black colour with deep dark red hue. The nose is a sniffers delight delivering perfumed aromas of ripe blackberry, confectionary, spice, dark chocolate, dark plum and vanillin oak. Full bodied with dark, opulent palate flavours of dark chocolate, black plum, blackberry, spice and mocha all wrapped in velvet like tannins. Excellent concentration and depth with long aftertaste of blackberry, dark chocolate, spice and black pepper.
Drinking superbly now, but also capable of a further 3-4 years of cellaring (2010-2014).
Alc 14.5%

The colour is holding well for a 2005 red. Medium body, crimson colour with crimson hue. Superb nose of violets, confectionary, spice, cedar and vanilla. The palate is a touch tight, this is a refined style of Shiraz, rather than the big bold styles of Barossa or Heathcote. Layers of white pepper over blackberry and spice. Very pronounced back palate flavours of blackberry, white pepper and cedar. A refined Shiraz.
Cellar 2-3 years (2011-2012)
Alc/Vol: 14.5%
