2005 Bass Phillip 'The Village' Pinot Noir

Cloudy brick red colour with tawny hue. This wine had been standing vertically for a couple of weeks so one would have expected the cloudiness to settle – but alas, not so. The colour is very advanced. Aroma of stewed fruit and spice with just a hint of violet. On the palate there is a hint of black cherry. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spice, sour cherry and stewed fruit.
