2005 Barking Owl Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant pale straw colour with water like hue. The nose reveals a hit of gooseberry followed by a touch of passionfruit and tropical fruit – not at all as pronounced as one expects from this combination. Full bodied palate, creamy texture with flavours of ripe gooseberry and passionfruit. Soft acid finish. Aftertaste of confectionary, ripe gooseberry and passionfruit.
