2005 Balgownie Estate Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with crimson mauve hue – the wine is holding its colour well. Perfumed top note with some earthy notes emerging. Aroma of ripe plum and spice, followed by a touch of tea leaf. Flavours of stewed fruit, cedar and light plum come on the palate. Soft tannin, the wine is at its peak. Aftertaste of cedar and light plum.
