2004 Yarraman Black Cypress Cabernet Merlot

A medium bodied red. Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Aroma of cedar and stewed fruit, followed by blackcurrant and leather. Moderate palate length. Flavours of stewed fruit, plum and leather emerge on the palate followed by a smoky liquorice back palate. Fine grained, dry and persistent tannins. Aftertaste of cedar and stewed fruit.
