A tight Menzies Cabernet, made from vines planted in 1975. The wine has been matured in French and American hogsheads. Almost opaque black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. Perfumed nose of spice, cedar, blackcurrant and violets, followed by a cigar box end note, showing strong varietal character. Very fine dry and pronounced tannins, support flavours of blackcurrant and cedar. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar and spice.
