2004 Yalumba Single Spur Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. The wine displays some of the complexity of the 2003 wine, however it is not carried throughout the palate. Aroma of hazelnut, cashew and yeast lees, showing barrel fermented character. Dryish palate with flavours of cashew, hazelnut, yeast lees and fig. Spicy oak in the background. Aftertaste of yeast lees, spicy oak, fig and melon.
