2004 Willow Creek Vineyard Tulum Vintage Brut

This Sparkling wine is composed of a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir. The wine pours well with an impressive mousse. Moderate to fine bead with moderate persistence. Deep straw/pale gold colour base wine showing some oxidised character. Delicate yeast autolysis nose, with aroma of cashew and light yeast lees. Creamy texture, with quite pronounced grapefruit and citrus flavours and just a hint of sherbet. The acidity runs quite high. A crisp aperitif style.
