2004 Willow Creek Vineyard Tulum Chardonnay

An impressive Chardonnay fermented on wild yeast strains and aged for 12 months in French oak. Bright pale straw colour with green tinge and water like hue. The nose shows good barrel ferment character with aromas of cashew, biscuit and toasted oak. The structure of this wine is refined, showing good weight and depth of flavour. Flavours of yeast lees, biscuit and cashew emerge. Clean acid finish. Long aftertaste of yeast lees citrus and fig.
