2004 White Box Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Mocha top note, followed by light coffee, liquorice, plum and spice. As with the Shiraz Viognier there appears to be considerable residual sugar left in the wine creating a fruity flavour. Ripe fruity blackberry and spice flavours. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice and mocha. A soft red.
