2004 Waimea Estates SV Gewurztraminer

The SV is Waimea’s ‘signature vineyard.’ Bright deep straw colour with pale straw hue. Lifted nose, showing strong Gewurztraminer character, with pronounced notes of spice, lychee and loquat evident. Creamy palate texture with a hint of residual sweetness. Slightly broad flavours of lychee, ripe tropical fruit and a touch of talc. Slightly coarse back palate, with long aftertaste of spice and ripe lychee continuing.
