2004 Voyager Estate Girt By Sea Cabernet Merlot

This wine is composed of a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot and 9% Shiraz. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Perfumed nose with aromas of mulberry, spice and violet followed by blackcurrant and a hint of liquorice. The palate delivers good complexity revealing flavours of mulberry and blackcurrant, supported by a very restrained touch of tea leaf. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spice, blackcurrant and liquorice.
