Very deep crimson colour with crimson purple hue. Aroma of liquorice, spice, ripe plum and raspberry followed by a hint of white pepper. The palate is tight with flavours of raspberry, liquorice and spice emerging. Fine dry and persistent tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, raspberry and stewed fruit.

First tasted, November 2005:
Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Perfumed, lifted nose of raspberry, blackberry and spice, followed by a liquorice allsorts end note. The palate has good weight with moderate length. Flavours of raspberry and cherry appear. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of raspberry, cherry and spice.
