David Dunn is an old time viticulturalist located in Rutherglen. For 26 years he was responsible for the vines at St.Leonards and All Saints. His vineyard is a miniscule two acre property with the wine being made by Andrew Sutherland Smith at Warrabilla.
An excellent flavoursome Durif with perfect tannin and balance.
A totally opaque saturation of black colour. Lifted nose of violet, morello cherries, liquorice all sorts and vanilla, delivering a delightful sniff. The palate flavours are generous with vanilla, spice, cherry and liquorice all sorts evident. Excellent palate weight. Velvet tannin. Perfect balance. Long cherry liquorice all sorts aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years (2009-2010)
