2004 Terraza de los Andes Afincado Malbec

This very impressive Malbec has been produced from 75 year old Bordeaux clones and grown at an altitude of 1,067 meters (3,500 feet). Matured in 100% French oak for 18 months. Totally opaque black purple crimson colour with black purple hue. The wine exhibits a strong cling to the glass walls. Top notes of dark chocolate, spice and blackcurrant. Mouthfilling flavours of ripe black cherries and dark chocolate. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance. Aftertaste of spice and cherry.
