This translucent mauve, damask pink rose was made using the Saignee technique, where gently crushed grapes are bled of free run juices over a 4-12 hour period, picking up only a little colour. Aroma of raspberry, confectionary, spice and cherry. The palate displays a hint of residual sweetness with flavours of ripe plum, stewed fruit juices, raspberry and spice. Soft acid finish. Aftertaste of spice, liquorice, raspberry and ripe plum.
