2004 Stumpy Gully Merlot

Semi-translucent brick red colour with brick red hue, showing quite advanced colour for a 2004 red. Aroma of stewed fruit and spice followed by a touch of earth. Stewed fruit palate flavours are evident with a touch of blackcurrant emerging on the back palate. Fine, chalky tannins. Simple stewed fruit aftertaste.
