Totally opaque inky black dark red colour with very deep dark red black hue. The nose displays intense aromas of liquorice, aniseed and black cherry followed by marzipan, raisins and spice. Rich and succulent the palate is filled with an abundance of liquorice and aniseed flavours followed by some black cherry, marzipan and spicy brandy spirit on the back palate. Excellent spirit integration with solidly built fine grained tannins. Very long liquorice, black cherry, marzipan and spice aftertaste.
