2004 Shadowood Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Hints of violet on the nose, followed by spice and liquorice. On the palate liquorice, plum and spice flavours emerge, slightly coarse, but acceptable. Dryish tannins. Aftertaste of plum, liquorice and stewed fruit.
