2004 Schubert & McLean Shiraz Cabernet

Very deep, almost opaque black crimson colour with deep black mauve hue. Aroma of vanilla, liquorice, spice and plum, followed by a violet end note. The palate flavour profile is generous, with ripe Cabernet fruit followed by a spicy black pepper back palate. Excellent length and depth. Fine, dry, slightly chalky tannins. Long aftertaste of liquorice, blackberry, dark chocolate and mocha.
