2004 Rutherglen Estates Durif

Opaque black purple colour with black purple hue showing outstanding depth of colour. Aroma of ripe cherry and plum followed by a hint of confectionary. The palate flavours are quite spicy, with liquorice and plum layers over cherry and vanilla. Fine grained tannins with very good balance. Aftertaste of cherry and vanilla.
