2004 Punters Corner Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black brown colour with sienna brown hue, showing considerable development. The nose is developed with aroma of cedar and old leather followed by stewed fruit, tea leaf and a hint of mint. The palate is very disappointing with old leather and mocha earth flavours dominant. Dry chalky tannins, unpleasant aftertaste of tea leaf and old leather. Starts well but ends with a thud!
