Shiraz grown in the Great Southern area of Western Australia is renowned for its cool climate attributes of spice, black and white pepper and aniseed which are overlaid with strong ripe berry flavours. It is believed that the extremes of diurnal temperatures (warm days and very cool nights) throughout the growing season contribute to these characteristics.

An impressive cool climate Shiraz. Opaque black crimson colour with mauve black purple hue. Perfumed nose of violets, vanilla, confectionary, blackberry and spice. The palate reflects the cool climate character of this wine with white pepper, ripe blackberry, vanilla, confectionary and spice flavours emerging over a ripe plum background. Fine grained dry, balanced tannins, followed by a long white pepper, vanilla and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-8 years (2012-2015)
Alc/Vol: 14.5%
