Wine maker Lindsay McCall has emerged as the Star of the Mornington Peninsula. His Pinot Noir collection is expressive and as good as the best of New Zealand. His Shiraz shows elegance, finesse and loads of flavour, without the body weight that McLaren Vale or Barossa delivers. The prices are often very expensive, however, they certainly represent value none the less.

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Superb lifted nose of violet, spice, clove and dark cherry. The palate displays spicy game flavours followed by strawberry, liquorice and black cherry. Excellent palate weight and mouthfeel with an impressive power wave. Velvet smooth tannins. Very long aftertaste of spice, cherry, strawberry and game.
Cellar: 3-5 years
Alc/Vol: 14.9%
