2004 Nepenthe Ithaca Chardonnay

Bright pale gold colour with straw hue. Top note of yeast lees, followed by biscuit and butterscotch followed by end notes of fig and melon – displaying distinct barrel ferment character. The palate displays flavours of citrus, tropical fruit and melon, moderate length. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of citrus, spice and light butterscotch.
