Translucent crimson colour with mauve hue. Lifted nose of violets and spice followed by a touch of stalk. The palate has a velvet texture, with flavours of cherry, plum and strawberry jam evident, with just a hint of anise in the background. Velvet smooth tannins. Very long aftertaste of cherry, strawberry and a touch of stalk.
