2004 Murdock The Merger Cabernet Shiraz

The blend is composed of 60% Coonawarra Cabernet and 40% Barossa Shiraz. Outstanding colour, opaque black crimson. Superb nose of blackberry, cedar and dark chocolate followed by a smoky oak and tea leaf end note. The palate structure is tight with the Cabernet component drying out the palate. Aftertaste of tea leaf with dry tannins persisting.
