2004 Munari Lady's Pass Shiraz

The colour of this wine is fantastic, vibrating with typical Heathcote black purple hues and showing excellent glass cling. Aroma of ripe blackberry, black pepper, plum and spice. The palate is not quite as concentrated as expected with flavours of liquorice, plum, spice and black pepper evident. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of plum, liquorice and black pepper.

Deep colour; full-bodied, almost exotically rich and sweet (sweetnes in the best sense) in a black fruit spectrum, together with splashes of anise and licorice.  Great structure and length.
