The blend is composed of 71% Shiraz and 29% Cabernet. Totally opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. Aroma of spice and blackberry followed by notes of blackcurrant and liquorice with black pepper as an end note. The palate is quite peppery, with flavours of black pepper, plum and blackberry. Fine grained, slightly chalky tannins. Long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and ripe plum. A tight, well made red.
