2004 Marlargo Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Vanilla top note, followed by spice and stewed fruit. The palate flavours are straightforward, stewed fruit and plum creating a disappointing sensation given the back label of the wine heralds the following attributes of the wine; Vibrant, intense, stunning and soul searching. The words are all spot on, it’s a pity they don’t match what's in the bottle. Fine grained tannins. Stewed fruit aftertaste.
