2004 Marius Simpatico Single Vineyard Shiraz

Very deep almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Top note of liquorice, followed by spice and vanilla with a hint of blackberry as an end note. Fine grained tannins. Flavours of vanilla and blackberry which run into the aftertaste. A well made red.

First Tasted, September 2006:
Very deep, almost opaque crimson purple colour with purple black hue, showing very good cling to the walls of the glass. Aroma of spice, black pepper, plum and liquorice allsorts. Fine grained tannins support flavours of liquorice, plum and spice. Aftertaste of plum, spice and black pepper.
