2004 Long Gully Estate Shiraz

Long Gully sourced the grapes for this wine from 50 year old vines that are grown on the banks of Major Creek in the Heathcote District.
Very deep black crimson colour with deep mauve hue. Delicately perfumed with top notes of cherry, plum and spice followed by violets, blackberry and raspberry. On the palate, flavours of blackberry are followed by raspberry, leather, earth and spice. Fine grained tannins. Moderate depth. Aftertaste of plum, spice and blackberry.
