2004 Lindemans Bin 0403 Shiraz

This wine has been produced from low yielding 35 year old vines, grown on the Ben Ean Vineyard and matured in old American oak for one year. Very deep, almost opaque black crimson colour, with deep crimson mauve hue. The nose shows good primary fruit character, with notes of plum, spice and blackberry emerging. Fine dry tannins support flavours of liquorice, blackberry and vanilla. The palate lacks length and depth. Aftertaste of cinnamon, liquorice and vanilla.
