2004 Light's View Wines The Virginian Merlot

Very deep brick red colour with deep brick red hue. Medium body. The nose is appealing with a top note of spice, followed by mulberry and a hint of blackcurrant. On the palate flavours of plum, liquorice and chocolate. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of plum and stewed fruit.
