2004 Langanook Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Cabernet Franc

Made by Matthew Hunter, who was responsible for the early vintages of Sanguine Estate. Very deep, almost opaque black purple colour with deep purple hue. Aroma of spice, blackcurrant and cedar, followed by a hint of violets as an end note. ‘Joosy’ palate fruit, showing ripe primary fruit flavours of blackcurrant and spice. The palate has good weight. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of spice and blackcurrant, followed by a hint of liquorice.
