Almost opaque black crimson colour with black purple hue. Lifted nose of violets, blackberry and vanilla followed by dark plum showing good varietal lift. The palate reveals flavours of plum and stewed fruit, relatively tight, showing a good deal of refinement. Aftertaste of plum, spice, stewed fruit and a hint of liquorice.
