2004 Hochkirch Steinbruch Pinot Noir

This Pinot is slightly cloudy, with crimson brick red colour and crimson hue. Semi-translucent. The nose is subdued with aromas of violets followed by cherry, spice and just a hint of earth and truffle. Cherry palate flavours emerge followed by stewed fruit and a slightly chalky back palate with stalk becoming evident. Light cherry, spice aftertaste.
