2004 Hardys Oomoo Sparkling Shiraz

This sparkling Shiraz pours with a purple mauve mousse and displays a deep dark crimson red colour. Very fine bead showing good persistence. Aromas of aniseed, blackberry and plum are followed by a leather end note. Rich and full the palate displays mouthfilling flavours of liquorice, blackberry and dark plum followed by some confectionary and earthy leather undertones. Good weight and concentration with a creamy texture. Good depth with medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, blackberry, confectionary and a hint of earthy leather.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
