Hamasrek is a kosher boutique winery located in Bet-Meir, a village in the Judean Hills near Jerusalem, Israel. Winemaking in this region dates back as far as the Roman Empire.
This wine is classified as Kosher for Passover. Brilliant gold colour, with pale straw hue. The nose is impressive with honeyed top notes followed by melon, fig and honeycomb. The palate is not as complex as the nose suggests, but delivers flavours of yeast lees, biscuit, cashew and almond. Soft acid finish. Aftertaste of almond and yeast lees.
