2004 Glen Eldon Wines Black Springs Reserve Shiraz

A very impressive red, produced from the best parcels of fruit with production limited to 120 dozen.
Totally opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Top note of toasted oak, followed by blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate. The palate displays flavours of plum, liquorice and cedar followed by a back palate of spice, blackberry and vanilla. Fine grained tannins – excellent length and depth of flavour, followed by aftertaste of plum, vanilla and liquorice allsorts.
