A magnificent wine and the high point of the Glaetzer collection, however, having said that, the entire 2004 Glaetzer release could be considered to be a high point.
Opaque black purple colour. Aroma of dark chocolate, toasted oak and blackberry concentrate. The palate is a powerhouse, which is supported by fine grained, dry tannins in perfect balance with the powerful fruit flavours. Violet infusions, black pepper and ripe plums are overlaid with liquorice allsorts and raspberry. Perfect balance, with outstanding length and depth.
