Yet another top red reflecting the outstanding 2004 South Australian vintage.
The wine is composed of a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc & Merlot. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose, showing classic ripe Cabernet family aroma. Top notes of violets followed by blackcurrant and cassis. Mouthfilling palate, revealing an abundance of ripe Cabernet fruit flavours – blackcurrant, raspberry, blackberry and liquorice allsorts dance around the palate. Velvet smooth tannins, perfectly balanced followed by a long aftertaste of liquorice and blackcurrant.
