2004 Fraser Gallop Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Bright crimson colour with crimson brick red hue. Medium body. Top note of cedar, followed by a hint of tea leaf and old leather. The palate flavour profile is relatively short, with flavours of cedar and stewed fruit evident. Fine dry tannins, some cigar box back palate flavours. Persistent dry tannins on aftertaste.

First Tasted, February 2007: Crimson brick red colour with brick red hue. Medium body. Restrained nose of spice, stewed fruit and blackcurrant. Fine, dryish tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and liquorice.
