2004 Fox Gordon Eight Uncles Shiraz

This wine has outstanding colour. Opaque black mauve purple colour with mauve purple hue and mauve purple cling to the glass. The nose delivers an impressive lift with ripe plum, spice, blackberry and vanilla notes. The palate has an unusual end character of graphite and dark bitter (high cocoa content) chocolate. Flavours of white and black pepper. Chalky tannins. Aftertaste of dark, bitter chocolate, cherry and spice.
