2004 Ferngrove The Sterlings Shiraz Cabernet

This wine is composed of a blend of 57% Shiraz and 43% Cabernet. Very deep almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Perfumed nose of blackcurrant, followed by liquorice and confectionary. The palate flavours are dryish with white pepper, blackcurrant and cedar evident. Aftertaste of blackcurrant and cedar with a hint of confectionary and vanilla.
