2004 Domain Phillip Jones 'Old Cellar' Pinot Noir

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The wine is slightly cloudy. Medium body. The nose is more pronounced than the Village wine with aroma of dark cherry, ripe strawberry and spice followed by a violet end note. Flavours of spice, strawberry and cherry on the palate with a touch of stalkiness emerging. The strawberry and cherry flavours dominate. Long cherry and strawberry aftertaste.
