2004 De Bortoli Windy Peak Cabernet Merlot

Very deep, verging on being opaque, crimson colour with deep crimson purple hue. Aroma of ripe blackcurrant and spice followed by a hint of liquorice – delivering an appealing sniff. The palate flavours are not as impressive. Stewed fruit followed by sour cherry and plum. Fine dry chalky tannins. Stewed plum aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years (2009-2010) Alc/Vol: 13.5%
