2004 Danie De Wet Chardonnay Sur Lie

Brilliant straw colour with pale straw hue. The nose is quite delicate, with flavours of melon and fig, followed by subtle peach and lees endnote. The palate, very much reflects the nose, again quite subdued, in some ways reminiscent of Chablis A.C. There is a subtle touch of cashew, subdued peach and delicate yeast lees. Clean acid finish.
