2004 Cockfighters Ghost Reserve Pinot Noir

The colour of this wine is outstanding. Bright deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Aroma of strawberry and cherry, followed by a slightly gamey end note – revealing impressive varietal character. On the palate, flavours of cherry, liquorice and spice are evident over a background of ripe strawberry. Moderate length. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of inky cherries and spice.
