2004 Clonale By Kooyong Chardonnay

A complex wine that has been made using 10 different clones of Chardonnay. Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. Lifted nose of toasted oak, hazelnut, roast almonds and yeast lees. The palate profile is drier than many other Australian Chardonnays, with flavours of hazelnut and cashew emerging over a creamy textured background. The wine has a distinct similarity to White Burgundy. Clean acid finish.
